The sweat, the tears, the overwhelming joy of victory and the devastation of defeat. Boys became men, as in the heat of their battles, display their strength, quickness and courage while their woman battle rivals, exhibiting their uniting bond and stamina. Each team is alike, coming into each game fighting from the beginning to the end, fighting not only for the name they represent but for their team and themselves. In this team we call ourselves... Midway!!!

There are people out there that you don't expect to do the things they do, but on occasion they come out with their cape and red boots and marvel us with their abilities. This past week, there were many who showed us on how "super" they really are. During the summer tournament, the men and woman of Midway have displayed, that they will push and push till the very end. From track, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton to bible trivia we have constantly "fight the fight" and in the mist of it all, we became triumphant, not because we've fought as individuals but because we fought as a team, a team called Midway!!
